Description
SHALIMAX
exterior emulsion is a specially formulated
coating for protection of exteriors from
today’s polluted climate conditions.
It is based on 100% Acrylic Resin, selected
grades of additives, pigments and chemicals
to ensure best possible protection. Does
not pick up dust, does not fade or peel
off and prevents fungus / algae growth for
years.
Application
Cleaning
– Insure that the surface to be painted
is free from loose paint, dust or grease
any previous growth of fungus, algae or
moss, need to be removed thoroughly by vigours
wire brush and cleaning with water.
Filling
– Application of any kind
of patty is not a recommended surface imperfection
such as holedent, crack are to be filled
by using mixture of white cement and fine
sand only in the ratio of 1:3.
Primer
– For freshly plastered surface
apply on a cell priming coat by thinning
one litre of paint with one litre of water
for other surface no priming the surface.
Top
Coat – Apply 2/3 coat by diluting
1 litre of SHALIMAX PAINT (SHALIMAX exterior
emulsion) with maximum 400 ml. of water.
A gaps of 4-6 hours should be given between
2 coats ensure that horizontal surface light
of top of windows, ledges at other horizontal
surface are painted within additional coat
for greater protection.
