Description
During
the preparation of concrete, inspite of
right composition, small voids called capillary
porses are formed in the process of adding
water to achieve the required compactness
and workability. Due to these capillary
pores, concrete is permeable to water. Shalimax
contains such chemicals that cause contraction
of the capillaries thus converting the water
absorbing capillary forces to water –
repellant forces. Binani gold in other words
is a special formulation which prevents
passage of water through pores and capillaries
of concrete thus providing excellent waterproofing
protection against rain, moisture, dampness
etc.
Binani Gold is an integral
waterproofing compound in powder form conforming
to IS-2645, used for all types of concrete
to prevent water penetration and provides
concrete with long-lasting waterproofing
property.

Uses
Binani Gold can be used
with all standard cements for Tanks, Reservoirs,
Basement Walls, Inspection-Pits, Roofs,
Cast stone Swimming Bath, Sewage Works,
Floors, Conduits, Cellars, Garage Pits,
Walls, Renderings (backing coats of white
or coloured cement finishes).
Application
Binani Gold should be mixed thoroughly with
cement before cement is mixed with aggregate.
Consumption
2% of Cement weight, but minimum 100 kg
for one m3 concrete.
